Skins
You can find skins (appearances) for avast! desktop editions on these pages, available
for free download. To install the skin simply click on the Download link (some skins may be embedded in ZIP files - in this case, double-click the skin file in the ZIP archive).
Hint: If you have Windows 2000 or XP, the skins will look much better if you turn on the translucent effects. To do this, activate the context menu in avast! Simple User Interface (e.g. by pushing the right mouse button), and use the check box on the "Appearance" page. You will then need to restart the program for the changes to take effect. Please note that this setting is suitable only for fast graphics adapters - otherwise it may slow avast! considerably down...
